2.1 million Stork Craft and Fisher-Price drop-side cribs recalled

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has reported a recall of more than 2.1 million Stork Craft drop-side cribs. (This includes about 147,000 drop-side cribs with the Fisher-Price logo.) The problem cribs were sold in January 1993 through October 2009. According to the CPSC, the cribs’ drop-side plastic hardware can break, deform, or parts can become missing. Additionally, the drop-side can be installed upside-down, which can result in broken or disengaged plastic parts. This can lead either to falls from the crib or suffocation of infants and toddlers.
Check this page for information on determining if your crib has been recalled and how to receive a free repair kit and installation instructions.
