Apple redesigned its $999 Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.26GHz 13.3" LED-Backlit Notebook in White. This new 4.7-lb. model now features a 1.08"-thick plastic unibody enclosure, faster Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26GHz processor, 13.3" 1280x800 backlit LED glossy widescreen display, 250GB hard drive (up from 160GB), built-in battery with up to 7-hours of life per charge, multi-touch trackpad, and more. It's scheduled to ship within 24 hours.

Update: Other specs, which remain unchanged from the previous model, include 2GB RAM, SuperDrive, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256MB graphics, built-in iSight webcam, and 802.11a/n wireless.
