Today, Google announced its new Google Chromecast Ultra 4K Ultra HD HDR Streaming Media Player, which will retail for $69 beginning in November. It can stream 4K UHD content from sites like YouTube, Netflix, Vudu, etc. and also supports high dynamic range content (HDR) from both HDR10 and Dolby Vision formats. It's purported to be the fastest Chromecast yet, loading videos 1.8 times faster than the standard Chromecast, and features an Ethernet port to better handle 4K streams and 802.11ac wireless. For non-4K TVs, its automatically optimizes for the maximum resolution your TV can deliver.
