Microsoft is still accepting preorders for its new 1.4-lb. Microsoft Surface 11" Windows RT Tablet. Prices range from $499 to $699 with free shipping for 32GB or 64GB sizes depending on whether you opt for the Black Touch cover. Sales tax is added where applicable. It features an NVIDIA Tegra 3 T30 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 10.6" 1366x768 multitouch screen, 2GB RAM, 802.11n wireless, up to 8-hour battery life with mixed activity, Bluetooth 4.0, front- and rear-facing 720p HD cameras, microSD card slot, ambient light sensor, and Windows RT OS. It's scheduled to arrive on or around October 26.
