Apple announced its new Apple iPad as a replacement for the now-discontinued iPad Air 2. Most notable is the price point — new models start at $329 (32GB WiFi), $70 less than a similar iPad Air 2. It steps up to a faster A9 processor and features a 9.7" Retina display. However, it is 23% thicker (7.5mm) and 7% heavier (1.03 lbs.) than the previous model. Here's the configurations, which are available in Silver, Gold, or Space Grey: Apple will begin taking orders on March 24 at 11:01 am ET.
