Amazon.com dropped its price on the Planet Earth: The Complete BBC Series on HD DVD to $15.49. Shipping adds $2.98, or spend over $25 to qualify for free shipping. Even with shipping, that's $3 under our mention from three weeks ago and the lowest total price we've seen. (For comparison, the Blu-ray version costs $43 at Amazon.) This set is narrated by Sir David Attenborough and includes 90 minutes of bonus footage not aired on the Discovery Channel.

Note that these HD DVD disks require an HD DVD player. They won't display in regular DVD or Blu-ray Disc players.
