Sales Tax Holiday on Energy Star Products for North Carolina

This weekend, North Carolina declares a sales tax holiday on Energy Star qualified products purchased for personal use. The exemption is for use on clothes washers, freezers, refrigerators, central air conditioners, room air conditioners, air-source heat pumps, geothermal heat pumps, ceiling fans, dehumidifiers, and programmable thermostats. This year, the sales tax holiday period is from 12:01 am November 6 to 11:59 pm November 8.
