TigerDirect offers the Seagate Backup 1TB USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive in Black, model no. STBU1000100, with Total Defense Premium Internet Security for Windows for $113.99. This $70 mail-in rebate cuts it to $43.99. With about $4 for shipping, that's $0.05/GB and $32 under the lowest total price we could find for these items purchased separately elsewhere, although we saw this bundle for $9 less two weeks ago. This drive is compatible with Windows and Mac and features a USB 3.0 adapter, 18" USB 2.0 / 3.0 cable, pre-loaded backup software, and more. Rebate expires May 31.
Of note, the software must be activated before the rebate can be redeemed. Be sure to cancel before 12 months are up or you will be charged an annual fee.
