Amazon.com offers the TiVo Series2 80-hour Dual Tuner Digital Video Recorder, model no. TCD649080, for $187.95. This $150 mail-in rebate drops it to $37.95. With free shipping, that's a $27 drop and the lowest total price we've seen without requiring a service plan, although of course service is still required to use it. TiVo subscriptions start at $12.95 per month for one year. This dual-tuner box can record two shows at once. Rebate expires August 31.
