I initially had problems getting this to work. Staples.com via phone conversation initially told me this info was erroneous because coupon code "70921" wasn't valid for laptop systems. I called back and got a second rep who walked me thru the whole process, and it works fine. Mail in rebate just takes 4 to 6 weeks. I hope this Visa $50 card (rebate) can be used at locations other than Staples. This was too good a deal to pass up.

It will work. It will only show up far into the checkout process. I got mine for the 305.00

@krysta - I was also able to use the coupon (70921). The discount didn't show up until I checked out. My price was 305 (plus tax).

Deal News price is incorrect because Staples does not allow coupon code 70921 to be used on sale items. This laptop is on sale at $429.99. They allow only the $50 mail in rebate for total cost of $379.99 -- NOT $305
