At Verizon.com, new customers signing up for select Verizon Triple Freedom packages receive either a free 2.53-lb. Compaq Mini 10" Netbook or Flip Video Ultra Digital Camcorder plus an extra $5 off per month for the first year. (An additional shipping charge will apply but is not specified.) Price and availability (including FiOS) varies by location, but starts at $99.99 per month for the package, including an upgrade to 3Mbps/768Kbps Internet. That's the best bundle deal we've seen from Verizon in several months. These plans include either FiOS TV, FiOS Internet, and home phone service, or DirecTV, DSL, and home phone service.
