I once signed up for one of the lifetime music services offered on my Dell desktop. I think it was MusicMatch Jukebox which immediately sold to Yahoo who ended the service within the span of 3 generations of a fruit fly. Lesson learned. A lifetime warranty is only as good as the company that offered it.
As usual, the problem with these lifetime subscriptions to services most of us haven't even heard of is the question of how long the service will be around. These aren't so much deals as they are bets.
