It's the best such promotion we've seen from this Canadian-based doughnut shop since last summer, when it offered a doughnut for free with any drink purchase. Limit one per customer, per visit.

On June 1, at participating Krispy Kreme locations, get a doughnut of your choice for free to celebrate National Doughnut Day. That's the best freebie we've seen from Krispy Kreme since February, when it offered 12 free doughnuts with the purchase of a dozen. Click here to find a store near you.

Smashburger offers a printable coupon good for a free entrée with the purchase of a Wedge Club Burger when you "like" its Facebook page and fill out a short form. Ovaltine via Facebook offers a sample of its Ovaltine drink mix in Rich Chocolate for free by filling out a short form. (You'll need to like the page to view the form.) That's the first free sample offer we've seen from Ovaltine. Allow six to eight weeks for the sample to arrive.
