With free shipping, that's $0.05/GB and tied with our mention from two weeks ago as the lowest total price we've seen for any 1TB eSATA hard drive. (It's also a current low for this drive by $30.) This "green" drive purportedly draws 40% less power than regular units. Rebates expire October 31.

MacMall.com is taking preorders for the new 6th-generation Apple iPod nano 8GB MP3 Player in six colors (Silver pictured) for $143.99 with free shipping. That's $5 under what Apple charges and the lowest total price we've seen. It's 47% lighter and 46% smaller than the previous model and features a 1.7" Multi-Touch LCD (no more click wheel), 24-hour battery life, clip, volume buttons, VoiceOver, and more. It's due for release next week.

Update: Amazon.com matched these prices. The 16GB version costs $171.99.
