dealnews Visits NY Red Cross to Deliver Check

In November, dealnews rallied its readers to support the victims of Hurricane Sandy by matching American Red Cross donations. Together we raised $81,256. Last week, we visited the American Red Cross of Greater New York to present them a check. They were kind enough to give us a tour of their facilities, which are still abuzz with activity from hurricane-related issues. (Pictured from left to right is Christopher LaBianco, the chapter's Chief Development Officer; Daniel de Grandpre, dealnews CEO; and Josh Lockwood, the chapter's CEO.)

We were honored to meet the amazing staff and volunteers that continue to work tirelessly for those who are still displaced and affected by the disastrous storm. Thank you, once again, to all of our readers who contributed, so that we can proudly support this wonderful organization as it helps those in need.

awesome job dealnews. I am an avid dealnews user (and do save a lot of money with the nice presentation of slick deals for the day), and I had a company match, and did spread the word. Thank you all especially those NOT in the east-coast, as that's so benevolent of you.
