This Week's Rumor Roundup: BBC and Xbox

This week, most of the rumors are lame re-hashes of ancient rumors (Netflix coming to the Xbox! iPhone SDK coming soon!) But, among the detritus were a couple of new gems of rumor-y goodness:

• External Blu-ray player for Xbox?
  A one-act play:
  HD DVD: Microsoft?
  Microsoft: What is it, honey?
  HD DVD: If I die ... will you ... will you remarry?
  Microsoft: (chuckles softly) What kind of question is that?
  HD DVD: Well ... it's just. Well. I think you should. I want you to be happy ...
  Microsoft: SWEET!
  
• BBC shows coming to iTunes Store?
  The good news: "Dr. Who", "Torchwood, "Extras", "The Office", "Red Dwarf", "The IT Crowd", and "Life On Mars".
  The bad news: Realizing the BBC exports better shows to us than we make ourselves.

Yep, that's all. Hopefully, next week, the web-er-nets will be more creative with their rumor-mongering!
