This week, I am experimenting with bullet-pointing the rumors... AND with being more mean! In no particular order:
Jeff Somogyi is a dealnews Senior Staffwriter and is rumored to be a Browncoat.
- Microsoft to let Bungie go indie, again?
If you love something ... Buy it. Then, if you still love it ... set it free. Wait. I don't think Microsoft is reading the same poetry I am ...
- The end of October will see the death of the Mac Mini ... and the birth of the Mac nano?
If it's true, the nano will be a tiny, white phoenix, rising from it's parent's ashes - only to have no one buy it, either.
- HTML code reveals "iPhone Extreme".
One can only wish that, on the product packaging, the "X" will be huge, and it'll be a more "in-your-face" and "over-the-top" edition of the iPhone. Like, it'll snowboard, or something cool, like that.
- AOL-owned wow.com to become a social network.
FINALLY, nerds and outcasts will have their very own place to hang out on the Internet.
- Yahoo! dumping Kelkoo.
NOOOO! You two were perfect for each other! Wait, I was thinking of Brangelina. Nevermind. Who's Kelkoo?
- Another Serenity movie?
I'm glad that the popularity of the first film will spawn another movie - and not a revival of the snooze-fest that was the TV series.
