Title: Staffwriter — Alabama (Full-Time 11a-8p CST)
dealnews Staffwriters write the deals you see every day on dealnews. Whether it's Amazon's price drop on the latest 3D TV, or a Groupon for the hottest bar in town, dealnews informs its readers with real-time, late-breaking news on deals. We give shoppers the context to make the right purchasing choices amongst a vast and confusing sea of information. Become our next Staffwriter. The ideal candidate would live in Huntsville, AL. However, residents of Alabama located outside of the greater Huntsville area interested in telecommuting are also encouraged to apply. (Travel to our Huntsville and/or New York City offices will be required as necessary.) This position is only available for dealnews' "2nd shift," which is between 11 am and 8 pm CST.

- Quickly identifying and explaining a product's value proposition through web research (i.e., why is this a good deal?)
Requirements
- Expertise shopping online & researching products online
- Exhaustive attention to detail
- Experience writing in a short, clean, formulaic style
- Flawless diction and spelling
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Extremely strong computer skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in all manner of consumer technology products, especially computers and electronics
