Whether you're cutting the tech edge with the new iPhone 5, happy with your iPhone 4S, or simply content with your iPhone 4, there's no doubt that the right accessories make tech life even better. From adapter cables to cases, we've rounded up the coolest and best-priced iPhone accessories.

  1. Lightning to USB 39" Adapter Cable
    Store: LWZTech via Amazon
    Price: $2.55 with free shipping
    Lowest By: $1

Is It Worth It?: With this Editors' Choice, you get a huge discount on a cable that lists for $19.99. (Apple's version sells for about the same price.) And the price keeps getting cheaper, as the latest update puts it at $2.55, two cents below our original listing for this deal. It's for use with Apple's latest connector found on the iPhone 5, iPad mini, and latest-generation iPod touch and iPod nano. A general note: Cables not manufactured by Apple occasionally have issues, so it's wise to order several and return any that don't work; if they all work fine, you can keep four on hand for half the price that you'd pay for just one Apple cable.

  2. Two-tone Soft Knit Sock Pouch for iPhone 5 6-Pack
    Store: eXpansys
    Price: $5.99 with $3.99 s&h
    Lowest By: $18

Is It Worth It?: The next time some jealous techie tells you to take that iPhone 5 and stuff it in your sock, you can pull out one of these knit pouches and get the last laugh. Combined with shipping, these pouches average $1.67 each, marking the lowest total price we could find for this quantity of such sock pouches by $18. They're tailored for the iPhone 5 and each 6-pack contains a variety of random colors in a two-tone pattern, including Red, Orange, Blue, and Pink. And for heaven's sake, don't put the pouch and phone in the laundry: We all know how easy it is to lose socks that way.

  3. Cooler Master Claw Case for Apple iPhone 4 / 4S bundled with a $1 HHI Credit
    Store: HandHeldItems
Price: $2.99 via coupon code "clawmaster4" with free shipping
    Lowest By: $17
    Coupon Expires: January 15

Is It Worth It?: Claws and iPhones normally don't make a good match, but in this case, you can get a nifty claw case for the iPhone 4/4S for just $2.99 after you enter the coupon code "clawmaster4", and you'll get a $1 HHI Credit to boot. Tied with our mention from last week, and at the lowest total price we could find, this case features an impact and scratch resistant thermoplastic urethane construction. It also comes in seven colors, including Aqua, Blue, Grey, Green, and Black (pictured).

  4. iPhone and iPod Accessories
    Store: All4Cellular via eBay
Price: From $2 with free shipping
    Lowest By: At least $1

Is It Worth It?: With this deal, it's cables, cables, and more cables, as All4Cellular via eBay offers three great deals ranging in price from $2 to $3.50, each one the lowest total price we could find by at least a $1. You can land 3.5mm Headphone Splitter Cable 2-Pack (pictured) in White for $2, a Wall and Car Charger with 2 USB Cables for Apple iPhone & iPod for $3.30, and a Wall Charger / USB Cable 4-Piece Bundle For Apple iPhone & iPod for $3.50. A 14-day money back guarantee is offered on all the items; note that the wall charger is not compatible with the iPad 3.

  5. Cell Phone Case Blowout Sale
    Store: All4Cellular
    Discount: Up to 90% off
    Shipping: Free shipping

Is It Worth It?: Let's put it this way: While you wouldn't want your iPhone case to blow out, you'd definitely want to take advantage of a "blowout" sale like this one from All4Cellular. The deals start at $1.49, which ties this with our October mention. Plus, it's only the second such sale we've seen on these items. Compatible phones include the iPhone 4 / 4S, iPhone 5, along with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus i515, and more.

Lightning cable: look at the reviews on Amazon...of the 3 most recent reviews 6 cables were shipped, 1 cable worked. It does get a little better as you go further down the reviews but not much. And the cost to return ship one of these cables is more than the cost of the cable. It's hard to see the value in these chinese cables. I can't figure out why you guys keep telling us these crappy products are good deals. If you pushed good values (products at great prices with good reviews, good track records, good warranties, etc) you would be providing a more valuable service.
