You'll have to verify your military status, but when you do, you'll be able to snag a Peacock Premium subscription for just $2.99 per month for the first 12 months. However, after 12 months, you'll be charged the then-current rate unless you decide to cancel.

Disney+, Hulu, Max Bundle

From $17 per month

Interested in the Disney+, Hulu, and Max streaming services? Get them bundled together at a discount. Opt for the ad-free tier, and you'll be saving $19 per month compared to paying for the services separately. Alternatively, the tier with ads saves you $9 in comparison. Besides the streaming services themselves, both plans get you access to select Hulu content via the Disney+ app, along with access to select HBO content in the Hulu app. Learn more about Disney+ bundles here.

Disney+ Bundle Trio W/ ESPN+

Basic for $15 per month; Premium for $25 per month

Get the ad-supported tier (Trio Basic) for $12 less than you'd pay for Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ separately. Or you can opt for the ad-free Trio Premium option for $24.99 month, which is $18 less than buying each service separately. (You can also sign up for bundles with just Hulu and Disney+, as well as bundles with Max instead of ESPN+.) ESPN+ gets you access to originals, live sports, daily studio shows, as well as exclusive articles on ESPN.com.

Max Streaming Service via Amazon Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video subscribers can get a free 7-day trial of the Max streaming service as an add-on. After the trial ends, you'll have to pay $9.99 per month for the version with ads or $16.99 per month for the ad-free version, if you wish to keep it. You can, however, cancel at any time.

SlingTV Subscriptions

From $20 for your first month

Did you know that you can sign up to Sling for as little as $20 per month for your first month? It's true! There are two plans available, both of which are half price right now: The Orange plan for $20, which includes 35 channels, including ESPN and the Disney Channel, or the Blue plan for $22.50, which includes 45 total channels and includes local ABC, Fox, and NBC news channels.

What Else to Know About Streaming Deals

What Kind of Streaming Deals Are Usually Available?

At any given time there are a number of streaming deals available for different services. For instance, historically we've seen the following:

  • Free month of Paramount Plus
  • Three free months of Paramount Plus
  • $40 off a Peacock annual subscription
  • Six months of Starz for $20
  • Three months of Starz for $3 per month
  • YouTube TV for $50 per month for two months
  • NFL Sunday Ticket plus four months of Max for free
  • Half off your first month of Sling TV
  • $20 off your first month of Fubo
  • Three free months of AppleTV Plus
Note that often promotions like these are valid for new subscribers only, although some will occasionally extend to returning users. However, the length of time for returning users can vary widely based on the promotion and the service. For instance, some may only need to have been without the service for six months, while others could stipulate 18 months or more.

What's the Best Streaming Deal Available?

While there are quite a few excellent streaming deals available, this is still going to be a bit subjective based on what service you're looking for and what your budget looks like. Even so, there are some that are just undeniably great deals.

Sling TV. If you want live TV as well as sports coverage, the Sling TV offer highlighted above is one of the better deals out there right now. You can save 50% on Sling across the board, whether you want the Orange subscription, Blue, or both.

Disney Plus, Hulu, ESPN Plus. Also known as the Trio Basic and Trio Premium bundles, you can opt for Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN Plus, all with ads, for $14.99 per month right now. That's a 44% savings, but it should be noted the price will increase on October 17 to $16.99 per month. Prefer to go ad-free? That'll cost you more, as the Trio Premium bundle is currently $24.99 per month, but will increase to $26.99 per month on October 17. That's still a 41% savings, but it's also worth keeping in mind that the Trio Premium tier isn't totally ad-free — you'll still see ads on ESPN Plus, but Disney Plus and Hulu should be ad-free.

Disney Plus, Hulu, Max. This is one of the best bundles out there, especially if you aren't interested in sports. You'll get three of the most in-demand streaming services bundled together this way and all you have to do is choose whether or not you want to deal with ads. The Disney Plus, Hulu, Max bundle with ads will set you back $16.99 per month, which is a pretty excellent offer for all the content you'll be able to watch. If you prefer no ads, that'll set you back $29.99 per month, but the great news about both of these plans is that they won't increase in price on October 17 — unlike the other Disney Plus plans.

Paramount Plus With Showtime. This package offers up notable Paramount Plus content, but it's also the only way to watch Showtime now since the two companies merged. Paramount Plus With Showtime will cost you $12.99 per month or $119.99 per year. You'll get a Paramount Plus free trial either way and you can keep an eye out right here on DealNews for the best Paramount Plus deals to save even more.

What Streaming Service Is the Most Affordable?

If you're focused on sheer affordability in the streaming services world, then it's worth noting there are some very niche services that are super cheap. For instance, AMC Plus starts at just $4.99 per month. That said, if you're looking for a more complete streaming service, the most affordable option is still Netflix Standard with ads for $6.99 per month. After that, the next best option is Amazon Prime Video, which is just $8.99 per month for the ad-supported tier and $11.98 per month for the ad-free option.

Ordinarily Disney Plus bundles and Hulu would fall somewhere in between these two, but given their prices are about to increase, it doesn't seem right to highlight their notable affordability, since that won't be the case much longer.

Can You Bundle Hulu With Other Streaming Services?

Indeed you can! Hulu can be bundled with Disney Plus, Max, and ESPN Plus in a few different combos. You can sign up for the following Hulu bundles:

  • Hulu and Disney Plus with ads for $9.99 per month
  • Hulu, Disney Plus, and ESPN Plus with ads for $14.99 per month
  • Hulu and Disney Plus (both ad-free) with ESPN Plus (with ads) for $24.99 per month
  • Hulu, Disney Plus, and Max with ads for $16.99 per month
  • Hulu, Disney Plus, and Max without ads for $29.99 per month
  • Hulu + Live TV, Disney Plus, and ESPN Plus with ads for $76.99 per month
  • Hulu + Live TV and Disney Plus (without ads), ESPN Plus (with ads) for $89.99 per month
Remember that prices for all of these packages will increase on October 17, 2024, with the exception of the two bundles including Max. If you aren't interested in Disney Plus or ESPN Plus, note that you can subscribe to Hulu and then add on certain services. These will cost you extra per month, but it might be worth it in order to get exactly the content you want and no excess:
  • Max
  • Cinemax
  • Showtime
  • Starz
Note that Hulu's standalone prices will also be increasing with the other bundles on October 17. You can expect Hulu with ads to increase from $7.99 per month to $9.99 per month, while Hulu with no ads will increase from $17.99 per month to $18.99 per month.

What's the Best Streaming Service in 2024?

While some will claim Netflix is still king when it comes to the best streaming service in 2024, this writer firmly believes this is another subjective question. If you enjoy Max content, Netflix isn't going to feel like the best service no matter how you cut it. If you want all of Disney Plus' content, you're going to lean that way no matter what someone says a better streaming service may be.

With that in mind, here are our top picks for the best streaming service in 2024.

Disney Plus, Hulu, Max Bundle. There are a couple of reasons why this bundle makes our list of the best streaming options available. First, it includes three popular platforms that should offer plenty for your household to enjoy, no matter what their preferences are. And second, the price of $16.99 per month won't be changing with the other plans under Disney's wing come October 17. On top of all of that, by bundling the service you're saving at least $9 compared to paying for each of these services on their ad-supported tiers. And that's based on current prices, not even what they will be when two of the three go up on October 17.

Paramount Plus with Showtime. As noted above, this is one of the only ways to watch Showtime content anymore, though you can add Showtime to a Hulu standalone subscription for an added fee. But for just $12.99 per month, this subscription gives you access to a fair bit of content, much of it premium, at a reasonable price. And that's hard to beat.

Disney Plus, Hulu, ESPN Plus. Not everyone is going to be on board with this one since not everyone will care about sports. And things can be a bit murky when it comes to sports streaming anyway, as some services won't offer you the ability to watch the games you want. But, at $14.99 per month, the ad-supported tier of this bundle is a pretty solid deal, and offers a savings of $12 versus buying all the subscriptions separately. However, this is another one that will see a price increase on October 17, but rest assured the savings will still be worth bundling the services instead of purchasing each one separately.

If none of these feel like a good fit for your entertainment needs, be sure to check out the best streaming bundle deals to see if any of those are a better fit. If you want to investigate the Peacock streaming service, we have the best Peacock deals to help you save as well as ways to get a Peacock free trial, since the service doesn't offer one directly at this time.
