I was getting the oops error using the app and gave up until this latest iPad contest started. It's been keeping me logged in now the way it always has in the past.

@Kaisei: In the past, each day was considered to start at midnight ET and end at the following midnight ET. The rules for this sweepstakes don't specify, though. Possibly complicating the matter is the fact that daylight savings time ends early in the morning of November 2, which is also the last day of the entry period. I submitted my entry for today a short time ago, just before 9:00 AM EDT, and the countdown clock on the entry page showed 12 days, 16 hours and a number of seconds left. Normally, it should've shown 15 hours. The added hour could be for the hour we get back at the end of daylight saving time.

I'm going to nitpick and point out the iPad mini 3 isn't "ALL NEW" especially since, as DealNews itself has said, the differences between it and the second-generation iPad mini don't justify the $100 difference in price. (In fairness, a commenter on that DealNews feature wrote that the 3 has twice the RAM of the 2. I haven't checked this out for myself, though.)

And though it's not in my best interests to point this out (since the fewer the total entries in the sweepstakes, the greater my chances of winning), I noticed that the rules don't exclude residents of Florida.

The click here to login (if you already have an account) doesn't work on iPhone with safari. Th sweepstakes used to work good where it would already have my email address and I just needed to enter zip code but now doesn't. Thx.
