Nvidia has agreed to a preliminary settlement to resolve a group of class action lawsuits concerning the storage capabilities and performance of the GTX 970. A set of 15 separate lawsuits allege that the GTX 970 was marketed in a misleading manner regarding its video memory, output processors, and cache capacity. Those who purchased the GTX 970 unit prior to August 24, 2016 may be entitled to a $30 refund. Once finalized, claim forms must be submitted by December 21, 2016. Click here for more information.
Note that this is only a preliminary settlement, and no refunds may be claimed until Nvidia finalizes its agreement.
