Sales tax is added where applicable. This software includes protection against spyware, viruses, and phishing.

newegg offers Symantec Norton Internet Security 2012 3-User for Windows, model no. 21197367, for $50. This $50 mail-in rebate (paid via Visa prepaid card) slashes it to $0. With free shipping, that's $5 under our mention from a month ago and the lowest total price we could find by $31. Rebate ends May 21.

Symantec offers downloads of its Norton Identity Safe for Windows and Mac, iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, or Android for free. That's the best deal we've seen on this password management tool. (Comparable software has cost as low as $20 for PC and Mac and $7 for mobile apps in previous deals.) It keeps your passwords synchronized across different computers, browsers, and mobile devices while storing your passwords and other information in a secure, cloud-based vault. Deal ends October 1.
