It is also important to remember that houseplants require good drainage to avoid the overwatered root-rot conundrum. Be sure to remove any excess water after 8 hours to be sure that the roots do not rot.

English ivy is a beautiful plant to add to your collection and is best showcased as a hanging plant. Light watering every few days will likely keep this plant content, and because it doesn’t like full sunlight, it can grow in many places in your home.

This trendy plant brings a little jungle feel to your living space. With leaves that evaporate little moisture, the water maintenance for this plant is fairly low. This plant enjoys a bit of sunlight, but keep it off your windowsill, as it doesn’t thrive in full sunlight.

When do I add barbecue sauce to my food on the grill?

Adding sauce too soon can result in a burnt taste, due to the sugars burning on the grill. Adding sauce too late doesn’t allow the barbecue sauce to soak into the meat. Chad's BBQ has recommendations for the most common barbecued meats:

  • Chicken

Add sauce during the final 10-15 minutes of cooking.

What’s the difference between a grill and a smoker?

Grills use direct heat to cook food adding to the temperature and ultimately reducing the cooking time. Smokers employ indirect heat, using heated chambers to cook food, which results in a lower temperature and an increased cooking time.

It is also important to note that the size of the meat you’re cooking should be a factor in the decision. If you wish to cook larger cuts like ribs and brisket, a smoker is a better choice. Smaller meats like chicken or steak are more suited to the grill.

How do I get food to stop sticking to my grill?
