Ending today, Sears Outlet takes 10% off most items sitewide via coupon code "MAYFNF" as part of its Friends & Family Event. That's the first such general discount we've seen from Sears Outlet this year. Opt for free in-store pickup to avoid shipping charges, which start at around $6. Some exclusions apply.

Starting today, participating Fry's Electronics retail locations will offer a hot dog and Coke for 50 cents from 11 am to 3 pm local time. (The volume of the drink isn't clear.) That's the only such cheap meal offer we've seen from Fry's Electronics. Deal ends May 18.

LivingSocial cuts an extra $50 off orders of $50 or more via coupon code "MYSTERY50". That's the best dollar-off discounts we've seen from LivingSocial. (For further comparison, we saw 15% off orders of $100 or less last week, since expired.) Some exclusions may apply.

Note that alternatively, coupon code "MYSTERY10" takes an additional $10 off with no minimum. (The codes don't stack.)

Sears cuts an extra 5% to 20% off select items during its Spring Savings Event. Plus, get an extra $5 off most orders of $50 or more via coupon code "SEARS2013". That's a slightly better sale over our mention from two weeks ago, which had an extra 5% to 15% off, and among the better sales we've seen from Sears recently. Shop Your Way Reward members bag 5% to 10% in points in addition to the savings. (Not a member? It's free to sign up.) Shipping starts at around $6. (A max 5,000¥ or about $49 shipping discount applies.) That's the first such shipping discount we've seen from Rakuten Global. Shop for electronics, animé, food/snacks, clothing, and more. Deal ends May 17.

Note that each order from each shop must amount to 10,000¥ or more to qualify for free shipping from that merchant.

Today only, until 7pm EST, Rakuten Shopping cuts $25 off marketplace orders of $75 or more via coupon code "GET25". Plus, many items qualify for free shipping. That's the highest dollar-off coupon we've seen from this merchant this year; however, we saw a $20 off coupon last week which only required a $50 minimum purchase. Some exclusions may apply.

Today only, Dollar General offers 20% off sitewide. (Discount is applied automatically in-cart.) That's the best sitewide percent-off discount we've seen from this merchant in recent months. (We saw $5 off all orders of $25 or more in March.) Shipping starts at $5.95, or bag free shipping on orders of $25 or more.

A best bet is the Coffeemate 35.3-oz. Creamer Tub 6-Pack (pictured) for $33 before the in-cart discount, and $26.40 after. With free shipping, that's $4.40 per pack and the lowest total price we could find $26.

Rakuten Shopping cuts $10 off orders of $50 or more from all marketplace sellers via coupon code "SPRING10". Although we saw $20 off orders of $50 or more for new customers five days ago (since expired), it's still one of the better dollar-off discounts we've seen from Rakuten Shopping in recent weeks. Many items qualify for free shipping. Shop from vendors including BuyDig, BeachCamera, J&R, TigerDirect, and more. Deal ends May 31.

Today only, Best Buy Reward Zone offers 5 points for free when you answer a question on Facebook. (Click on the User Poll tab and answer the poll question. Not a Reward Zone member? It's free to join.) Although it's one of the lower point values we've seen, it's still the best free points offer for Best Buy Reward Zone that we could find today.

At participating Hooters locations on Mother's Day, moms will receive a free meal with any drink purchase. (The meal must be $10 or less.) That's the best such deal we've seen from Hooters. Of note, mom must be accompanied by one or more of her offspring to qualify. (Embarrassing baby photos alone may not be enough.)
