As a reader discovered and for in-store pickup only (with stock varying by ZIP code), Micro Center offers the newest-generation Apple iMac Intel Core i5 2.7GHz 21.5" Desktop, model no. MD093LL/A, for $1,199.99. That's tied with our mention from three weeks ago and the lowest price we could find for a shipped unit by $25. (For further comparison, we saw a refurbished unit for $101 less three weeks ago.) Features include an Intel Core i5-3330s 2.7GHz Ivy Bridge quad-core processor, 21.5" 1920x1080 LED-backlit display, 8GB RAM, 1TB 5400 rpm hard drive, NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M 512MB graphics card, AirPort Extreme (802.11n), two Thunderbolt ports, four USB 3.0 ports, FaceTime HD camera, Bluetooth 4.0, Gigabit Ethernet, Magic Mouse, wireless keyboard, and OS X Mountain Lion.
