The third anniversary of the Apple iPad arrived on April 3, and though we might be almost a month late, this celebratory, all-iPad roundup is chockfull of deals on nearly all the generations of tablets we've known and loved. And if you're looking for the best price on an iPad in a specific color that's not listed here, be sure to check out our daily iPad deals for more options.

  1. Used Apple iPad 2 32GB WiFi Tablet
    Store: CowBoom
    Price: $299.99 with free shipping
    Lowest By: $102

Is It Worth It?: Though we saw it for $30 less two weeks ago, this is still one of the best price we've seen on a used iPad 2. Available in Black, this 0.3"-thick tablet features an Apple A5 1GHz dual-core processor, 9.7" 1024x768 LCD touchscreen display, 802.11n wireless, Bluetooth, accelerometer, up to 10 hours of battery life, and more. When it came out in 2011, CNET raved about its "easy-to-use interface, vast app catalog, and marathon battery life," which we still find to be true. Do note that no warranty information is provided and this used unit may be missing parts or accessories and have dents or significant scratches.

  2. Used Apple iPad 3 16GB WiFi 9.7" Tablet
    Store: CowBoom
Price: $299.99 via coupon code "iPad50" with free shipping
    Lowest By: $79

Is It Worth It?: Formerly known as the "new iPad," this Editors' Choice iPad is the third iteration of the popular tablet and boasts a Retina display. Available in Black, it's $40 under our February mention and the lowest total price we've ever seen for an iPad with Retina display — and $79 below Apple's refurb price. It's 9.4mm thick, weighs 1.4 lbs., and features a 9.7" 2048x1536 Retina display, A5x dual-core processor with quad-core graphics, 5-megapixel iSight camera with 1080p video recording, front FaceTime camera, voice dictation, 802.11n wireless, Bluetooth 4.0, up to 10 hours of battery life, and iOS 5. As with the above deal, note that no warranty information is provided. This is a used unit and may have dents, scuffs, scratches or other cosmetic blemishes, and may be missing parts or accessories

  3. Refurbished Apple iPad 4 64GB WiFi Tablet
    Store: Groupon
    Price: $599.99 with free shipping
    Lowest By: $50
    Expires: May 3

Is It Worth It?: Here's another Editors' Choice deal on a third generation model, this one refurbished and offering a savings of $50. Available in Black or White, it's 9.4mm thick, weighs 1.4 lbs. and features a 9.7" 2048x1536 Retina display, A6X dual-core processor with quad-core graphics, 5-megapixel iSight camera with 1080p video recording, 1.2-megapixel HD FaceTime camera, voice dictation, 802.11n wireless, Bluetooth 4.0, Lightning connector, up to 10 hours of battery life, and iOS 6. CNET says that the iPad with Retina Display is "stunning" and we're inclined to agree.

  4. Apple iPad mini 64GB WiFi Tablet
    Store: MicroCenter
Price: $449.99 with free in-store pickup
    Lowest By: $63

Is It Worth It?: The iPad mini marked Apple's foray in to the 7" tablet market last year. Inside its 0.3"-thick exterior, you'll find iPad 2 specs at a weight of just 0.7 lbs. Features include an Apple A5 1GHz dual-core processor, 7.9" 1024x768 LED-backlit touchscreen LCD, 802.11n wireless, Bluetooth 4.0, accelerometer, compass, up to 10 hours of battery life, and iOS 6.

    Store: Walmart
Price: $299 with free in-store pickup
    Lowest By: $30

Is It Worth It?: For $200 less than the 64GB version, this deal on the iPad mini 16GB flavor (available in both Black and White) comes in at an additional $30 savings with pickup at Walmart. Like the above-mentioned iPad mini, this 0.3"-thick tablet weighs 0.7 lbs. and features an Apple A5 1GHz dual-core processor, 7.9" 1024x768 LED-backlit touchscreen LCD, 802.11n wireless, Bluetooth 4.0, accelerometer, compass, up to 10 hours of battery life, and iOS 6.

Never, ever buy an iPad or Apple products for that matter (well, except the Class iPods). With this kind of money, you're way way better with a Windows 8 or RT tablet, preferably with a keyboard dock. If your green is limited, then you should move down to Android tablets.
