Lowe's Coupons & Sales for May 2013

Lowe's discounts a selection of items during its Memorial Day Sale, with prices starting at $2.50. It's essentially tied with last week's Pre-Memorial Day sale and among the best sales we've seen from Lowe's in recent months, yielding several current price lows. (We saw a similar sale four days ago.) Shipping starts around $6, or spend $49 or more to qualify for free shipping. (Free in-store pickup is also available on select items; oversized items may carry a surcharge.) Note that for some items, prices and stock may vary by ZIP code. Deal ends May 27.

A best bet is the the Grill Master 4-Burner Stainless Steel Gas Grill (pictured), model no. 720-0697, for $169. Select free in-store pickup to avoid the $65 delivery cost. That's tied with our mention from a week ago as one of the least expensive 4-burner gas grills we've seen, although it was $20 less just over year ago. This 48,000-BTU gas grill features a 667-square-inch cooking surface, plus a stainless steel lid and burners.

Lowe's offers the Heartland Stratford 12-Foot x 8-Foot Saltbox Engineered Wood Storage Shed, model no. 182938, for $858 with in-store pickup. (Lowe's truck delivery is also available for $79.) That's $536 under the lowest price we could find for a similar shed elsewhere. It features 96 square feet of storage space, 64" double doors, two 8-foot shelves, pegboard, and 8-foot workbench. Deal ends June 3.

Lowe's cuts 10% to 40% off select major appliances of $399 or more. (The banner advertises 10% off, but there are greater savings in this sale; the discounted prices are shown in cart.) Even better, all items receive free shipping. That's the best deal we've seen on these items from Lowe's. (We saw 10% to 25% off with no free shipping last fall.) Sale ends May 28. Some best bets:

Lowe's offers the Rubbermaid Roughneck 53-Cubic-Foot Storage Shed, model no. FG5L10LWFMONX, for $197 with in-store pickup. (Lowe's truck delivery is also available for $59.) That's $82 under our mention from last spring and the lowest total price we've seen. This 110-lb. storage shed features double wall construction, leak-, dent-, and weather-resistance, a heavy-duty floor, and more. It has enough space inside to hold long-handled tools, potting soil, gas cans, and more.
